POLICE DECLARES WAR ON PERPETRATORS OF DEADLY ONDO BANK ROBBERY.

The Ondo state police command has directed all its personnel to do all within their powers to apprehend perpetrators of the deadly bank robbery in Ilara Mokin, Ifedore local government area of the state. The command’s public relations officer, Tee-leo Ikoro, made this known while fielding questions from reporters on the incident. Ikoro who confirmed that a popular journalist, a motocyclist and a passers-by were killed in the robbery incident, emphasized that a team of policemen have been deployed to the scene and investigation is ongoing. Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu had earlier described gruesome murder of the Journalist, Olubunmi Afuye, popularly known as ‘Bumbam’ as a dastardly act, directing that perpetrators of the heinous crime must be apprehended and brought to book in the shortest possible time.
